In todays world, the news is always on and filled with bad news. Avoiding the news when its constantly in your face can be challenging, but taking time away from it is essential to reduce your anxiety.   

The news can be filled with negativity and can be challenging to process. It can be hard to hear stories of tragedy, violence, and injustice, and they can leave you feeling helpless and hopeless. Not only that, but the news can also be sensationalized, which can lead to feelings of anxiety and fear. Sensationalizing the news and inciting fear in people is not unintentional.
